Welcome to Three Rivers Figure Skating Club

Three Rivers Figure Skating Club (TRFSC) is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1995 as the Brooklyn Park Figure Skating Club. The name of the club was changed in July, 2008 to Three Rivers Figure Skating Club which better describes the geographic area served by the club. TRFSC is based at the Brooklyn Park Community and Activity Center. 

We welcome members of all ages and abilities. Take a look at our events calendar, attend an event, read about our history, and feel free to contact us with any questions.

2025 Brooklyn Park Ice Show

Every year the Brooklyn Park and Champlin Skating School, and Three River Figure Skating Club host an annual Ice Show. A two day show for participants to put their skating skills into an ice show number (music, costume & choreographed routine) with other skaters, similar to a dance recital, but on ice! 

 

WHEN?

● Friday, April 4, 2025 at 7:00 PM

● Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 and 6:00 PM

 

WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?  

● TRFSC Members (TRFSC Ice Show Number/Competitors/Father Daughter/Feature Solo/Solo)

o Must be contract as a TRFSC member Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 contract for number of sessions for desired group numbers (see registration information)

● Must be registered for the Ice Show via SportsEngine by December 6, 2024

● Attend the Kick Off Meeting – January 15, 2025 6:00 – 7:00 PM

● (4) MANDATORY practices between March – April, typically (1) practice per week. 

o There are no practices the week of Anoka Hennepin School District Spring Break. If you are outside of that district, please pay attention to spring break commitments and timelines. 

o Definite practice dates and times will not be released until January. 

o If you know you are missing a practice (must notify by February 15th) or if you miss a practice without letting either the director or choreographer know, you will owe $30 per missed practice and will be required to make up a practice time with the choreographer. 

● Mandatory Finale Practice – Wednesday, April 2, 2025

● Mandatory Dress Rehearsal – Thursday, April 3, 2025

● Must be present for all three shows – Friday, April 4, 2025 and Saturday, April 5, 2025

RANDOM ICE / SWAP REGISTRATION

Please register for Random Ice and Ice Swaps prior to the session to ensure for safe skating

RANDOM ICE: Register for as many sessions as you intend to use for the current week. 

SWAPPING: Those that contract ice can swap one contracted ice session for another in the same week without charge.

TRFSC is a member club of United States Figure Skating (USFS) which is the national governing body of figure skating in the United States. The USFS sets the standards and rules under which all member clubs operate.
